A Field Service Engineer is a critical part of any team that provides technical, on-site service and support for various systems and products in a wide array of industries.   • Maintain accurate records of service reports, repairs, and customer interactions.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to customers to enhance their understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during service activities.
  • Manage inventory of service parts and tools with precision and accountability.
  • Develop relationships with clients to promote trust and repeat business opportunities.
  • Update technical documentation and manuals to enhance client resources.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Perform system upgrades and replacements as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare detailed service activity reports for management review and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills to interact effectively with clients and teams.
  • Ability to handle field work that includes frequent travel and flexibility.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, testing equipment, and software applications.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in dynamic situations.
