Job Description

The Air Freight Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the seamless operation of logistic activities concerning air shipments. This position involves overseeing the entire air freight process, ensuring shipment accuracy, and maintaining communication with clients and partners. As an Air Freight Coordinator, you will manage logistical requirements, prepare necessary documentation, and track cargo to its final destination. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track shipments, providing proactive updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns relating to air freight solutions and services.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and industry standards during transportation.
  • Establish strong relationships with logistic partners and freight forwarders.
  • Analyze shipping data to recommend improvements and enhance service efficiency.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance processes.
  • Conduct audits and generate reports on logistic operations and performance metrics.
  • Support the logistics team in achieving timely and cost-effective air transport solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in air freight coordination or logistics management roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of air freight processes, regulations, and documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills are required for success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software applications.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively in challenging situations.
  • Familiarity with international shipping and customs clearance procedures.
