Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems for homes and commercial buildings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units promptly and effectively.
• Inspect AC units and inform customers about maintenance needs and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to achieve optimal system performance.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling refrigerants and electrical components.
• Test electrical circuits and components to ensure proper functioning of HVAC systems.
• Replace, or repair defective components in HVAC systems such as motors, compressors, and switches.
• Complete work orders and associated documentation as required by service protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current HVAC best practices and technologies.
• Educate clients on proper care and maintenance of their air conditioning systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Keep inventory of parts and tools, and order supplies as needed for service tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in refrigeration or HVAC systems maintenance.
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles and troubleshooting practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces when necessary.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment specific to AC installation and repair.
