We’re seeking a dynamic and hands-on Operations Leader/Site Manager to spearhead production ramp-up, drive process excellence, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth function of production and maintaining the highest quality standards in your output, while maintaining a safe environment for the company. You will leverage your knowledge to drive efficiency and productivity by motivating personnel towards safety, quality, and productivity goals to meet company and customer expectations. This position is pivotal to the growth and expansion of our business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage plant operations including production, maintenance, and logistics.
Recruit, train, and develop plant staff to build a high-performing team.
Setup materials, machinery, and personnel, to create strong production lines.
Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, project management, and HR within Saudi and US sites to influence CSI Ametek goals.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, and corporate leadership.
Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles where applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
3 years of manufacturing experience with welding, cutting, forming, fabrication and quality specifications.
Strong knowledge of production management, safety standards, and quality systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Working Conditions
Full-time position with occasional extended hours based on operational needs.
On-site role in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production processes.
Language Skills
Must be able to communicate in English.
Needs to be able to communicate and function within Saudi Arabia.
Ability to communicate with diverse mix of nationalities coming to Saudi preferred.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills required with Algebra and Trigonometry preferred.
Reasoning Ability
Must be able to understand and solve problems and situations in the best interest of all parties involved.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills required such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to be trained and operate within CSI Ametek ERP system.
Other Skills And Abilities
Highly motivated individual willing to take on additional responsibilities and duties under a challenging and compressed schedules.
