Job Description

As a Travel Agency Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the success and growth of our travel agency. Your role is integral in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of travel consultants towards achieving their targets. This position requires a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and commercial acumen, as well as a passion for travel and excellent communication skills. You will oversee travel products and services, manage client relationships, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Your expertise will be key in navigating market trends and tailoring offerings to customer needs, ensuring an exceptional travel experience.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance daily operations within the travel agency to ensure efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of travel consultants to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor customer feedback to ensure high levels of satisfaction with services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with travel and accommodation partners.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Coordinate and manage various promotional events and marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare regular sales performance reports for upper management evaluation.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints swiftly to maintain reputation.
  • Facilitate comprehensive training programs to enhance consultant skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in tourism management, hospitality, or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience in the travel industry with managerial duties.
  • Proven track record in sales development and achieving business targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and partners.
  • Proficiency in Travel Management Software and other relevant applications.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure scenarios effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.
