About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor with proven experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, drainage, and large-scale civil works. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting precise surveys, producing accurate site data, and supporting engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects from design through to construction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and topographic surveys using total stations, GPS, drones, and other survey instruments.
• Perform setting out for infrastructure works, including roads, utilities, and drainage systems.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted on site.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings and specifications to prepare survey requirements.
• Liaise with design and construction teams to ensure alignment of survey work with project plans.
• Prepare and maintain detailed survey reports, drawings, and data records.
• Establish and maintain survey control points throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure survey work complies with applicable industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare final documentation for client handover.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design drawings and actual site conditions.
  
  
  

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification or membership with a recognized surveying body is an advantage.
  
  
  

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in land surveying, with at least 3 years in infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.).
• Proven experience in both pre-construction and construction phases of projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Technical Skills
• Proficiency in survey equipment such as Total Station, GPS/GNSS systems, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of surveying software (e.g., Leica Geo Office, Trimble Business Center) and data processing.
• Ability to process survey data into accurate CAD drawings and digital terrain models.
• Soft Skills

• Good communication skills to coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
