Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our team and support our operations. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse and inventory processes. Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments from various suppliers and sources.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to customers or outlets.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, ensuring safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts or other equipment to move and organize inventory safely.
  • Perform inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate stock levels and records.
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, following safety procedures.
  • Comply with health, safety, and legal regulations within the warehouse setting.
  • Label, store, and organize inventory in designated locations efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status.
  • Resolve any discrepancies with shipments, reporting issues to management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse processes and workflows.
  • Support other warehouse tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is generally required for this position.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment, including forklifts, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate inventory handling.
  • Physical fitness is required to perform tasks such as lifting and carrying items.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking are necessary.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
