Landscape Architect (225-829)

We are seeking a creative and skilled Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to design functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. You will be responsible for developing design plans, preparing site plans, and integrating innovative ecological systems while ensuring that all projects meet regulatory requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey complex landscape architecture ideas to clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Develop creative landscape design concepts that are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct site analysis to assess environmental impact and sustainability considerations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and urban planners during project development phases.
• Ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
• Select appropriate plant species and design irrigation systems for optimal growth.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure objectives are met efficiently.
• Conduct site visits to oversee project progress and quality of landscape installation.
• Utilize computer-aided design software to develop and refine landscape designs.
• Engage with community organizations to incorporate public feedback into project plans.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in landscape architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is mandatory.
• Proven experience working as a Landscape Architect with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and related software applications.
• Strong knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of landscape architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and time management.
• Licensure as a Landscape Architect is preferred but not mandatory for application.
