Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping the workforce of an organization. By collaborating with hiring managers, they guide the entire recruitment process, from identifying potential candidates to successfully integrating them into the company culture. This dynamic position requires expertise in developing strategic talent acquisition plans, utilizing technology, and building pipelines for future hiring needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is not only responsible for meeting present staffing requirements but also for forecasting future needs, ensuring that the best talent is attracted, engaged, and retained. They must possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the labor market, and a passion for finding and nurturing talents that align with the company's core values and objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and role specifications.
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing methods to identify and engage passive and active candidates.
  • Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidates' suitability.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams efficiently.
  • Negotiate job offers, including salary and benefits, with selected candidates.
  • Maintain and update candidate tracking systems and databases regularly.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future employment opportunities.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment processes.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives and career events to increase outreach.
  • Advise hiring managers on interview techniques and best recruitment practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws during hiring processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years experience in talent acquisition or related HR roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement efficient recruiting strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all recruitment processes.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
