Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinate, control and execute field operations in line with company and client policies, procedures and systems, statutory regulations and good industry practice and ensure that client requirements are fulfilled as per schedule. Supervise the field operations unit staff and activities for safe and smooth operation of the unit. Ensure that unit personnel and equipment are readily available to execute wireline jobs as per contract with client.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Responsible for wellhead X-Over selection and compatibility with Wellhead.
  • Ensures that all operational measurements and computations are carried out according to Company procedures and standards.
  • Conducts job briefing / debriefing regularly with Supervisor.
  • Prepares electronic permit to work.
  • Ensures that all job reports are accurate and passed to customers on time.
  • Daily reporting to supervisor in case of shortage of tools or any deficiencies regarding equipment and safety issues.
  • Daily follow up with customers on operational matters.
  • Responsible for site auditing and provide documented feedback to base supervisor and FSE.
  • Ensures all equipment used within operating specifications.
  • Ensures that all his cell equipment are properly inspected, certified, pressure tested and color-coded. And that all associated documents are available in site and base.
  • Ensures that before leaving workshop all crew members having HSE passport and includes all mandatory training requested by the client.
  • Maintains and follows up on proper truck inventory and wire logbook.
  • Co-ordinates with Supervisor for handling scope of work & problems.
  • Holds pre-job toolbox talk and carry out follow up to all daily checklists on locations.
  • Prepares permit to work and allocation for safety equipment on sites.
  • Evaluates operators and helpers skills and provide feedback.
  • Prepares weekly activities and deliver to Supervisor.
  • Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 5 years’ of relevant experience in field - Rig & Rigless experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ at supervisory level.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent computer skills.
