Job Description

We are hiring a strong, execution-focused Senior Specialist to support the Group Supply Chain Finance team. This role blends financial analysis, manufacturing cost support, business case development, and dashboard reporting. You’ll work across 35+ entities to help drive supply chain savings, improve visibility, and support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Finance & BOM Analysis
  • Support product cost analysis, including BOM reviews, labor, overhead, and material costing.
  • Assist with make-vs-buy evaluations and cost breakdown analysis for sourcing decisions.
  • Work with Engineering and Procurement to validate supplier quotes against internal cost structures.
  • Savings Tracking & Supply Chain Reporting
  • Maintain and update the Group SCM Savings Tracker with both actual and planned initiatives.
  • Build reports on procurement spend, logistics costs, inventory levels, and performance KPIs.
  • Ensure data integrity across entities and automate reporting where feasible (Excel, Power BI).
  • Business Case Development
  • Support the Director with financial models and ROI analysis for major initiatives (e.g. inventory optimization, procurement centralization, 3rd party logistics).
  • Prepare quick-turnaround business cases and cost-benefit analyses for executive decisions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Consolidate inputs for supply chain budgeting and forecast reviews (material cost, freight, outsourcing, CAPEX).
  • Track variances vs budget across supply chain categories and entities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar.
  • 4+ years in a finance or supply chain analytics role — ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or defense sector.
  • Strong with Excel (formulas, pivots, models), decent with Power BI, basic SQL a plus.
  • Hands-on with ERP data (SAP, Oracle, AX); understands cost centers, POs, BOMs, etc.
  • Thinks like a finance person but speaks operations — you can bridge both worlds.
  • Sharp, structured, and reliable. You don’t need babysitting. You manage deliverables and own your work.

Competencies:

  • Data Management: Strong understanding of data governance, data quality methodologies, and data cleansing techniques.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at using data to identify and solve supply chain challenges.
