Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic communications professional to join RTX as the Senior Manager of MENA Communications. This role will play a critical part in executing communications plans for RTX and its business units operating in the Middle East. Reporting to the Director of MENA Communications, the Senior Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, external agencies, and RTX business units to drive impactful communications campaigns and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute regional communications campaigns in alignment with overarching strategies, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across channels (e.g. Coyote localization in the UAE)
• Collaborate day-to-day with the PR agency to drive media relations efforts and generate compelling content across various platforms (owned, earned and paid)
• Collaborate with Business Unit (BU) counterparts in the United States to support their ongoing communications campaigns with specific MENA requirements.
• Proactively identify and develop "always on" stories for internal and external communications, highlighting noteworthy achievements and activities within the region (e.g. awards, recognitions, milestones)
• Manage Tier 2 and 3 trade shows and events to promote RTX's presence and engage with key stakeholders. Support at Tier 1 trade shows.
• Support the Director of MENA communications in the development of local communications campaigns and strategies, providing valuable insights and expertise.
• Oversee social media and web presence, ensuring alignment with broader communication objectives and driving engagement with target audiences.
• Curate and distribute a quarterly MENA newsletter to internal stakeholders, showcasing regional activities and achievements.
• Coordinate graphic design projects through agency partnerships and collaboration with the branding team in the US.
• Provide support to the Director of MENA Communications in various initiatives and projects as needed.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in communications roles, with a focus on the MENA region.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated success in executing communications campaigns and initiatives across multiple channels.
• Strong understanding of media relations and content generation, with experience working with PR agencies.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across geographies.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive projects forward.
• Creative thinker with the ability to anticipate trends, identify opportunities & mitigate risks.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
