We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Parts & Services Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the parts and service functions within our organization, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role demands a professional with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the automotive parts and services industry. You will be responsible for driving parts and service sales, managing relationships with suppliers and customers, and leading a team to achieve the company’s business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximize parts and services sales.
  • Maintain and improve existing relationships with key suppliers and clientele.
  • Provide high-quality consulting services and advice to customers and team members.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the parts and service departments.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and job performance.
  • Manage inventory to maintain optimal levels and reduce wastage.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional activities for parts and services.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Prepare and present reports on department performance to senior management.
  • Implement industry best practices to improve department efficiency and service quality.
  • Coordinate with product development teams to stay updated on new product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in parts and service management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and service operations essential.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are required for team management.
  • Proven track record of sales success and relationship building abilities.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and CRM systems necessary.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues.
