Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Infrastructure Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex infrastructure solutions for our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess current infrastructure, and develop strategic plans to optimize performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, virtualization, cloud technologies, and networking. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a keen eye for detail. A proven track record of successful infrastructure projects and relevant certifications are highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex infrastructure solutions for clients based on their business requirements and objectives.
- Lead infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members in the design, deployment, and support of infrastructure solutions.
- Perform assessments of existing infrastructure environments and recommend optimization strategies to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with other technologies and services.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and trends in the industry to stay abreast of best practices and recommend innovative solutions to clients.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to infrastructure components, such as servers, storage, networking devices, and virtualization platforms.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping engagements, conducting assessments, and preparing proposals for infrastructure solutions.
- Stay current on relevant certifications and participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure solutions.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
