Job Description

As a Sales Executive in the freight forwarding industry, you will be pivotal in delivering our services to clients and generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying prospects, developing relationships, and closing deals with clients who require expert logistics solutions. This role demands a strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of the logistics and transportation industry, particularly freight forwarding. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service execution and delivery for customers.
  • Prepare and present professional proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape in freight forwarding.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Track and analyze sales progress using CRM tools and provide regular sales reports.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to expand business opportunities.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues with prompt and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to align sales activities with promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and logistics processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant sales management tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing sales activities.
