Job Description

A Registered Nurse (RN) plays a pivotal role in the healthcare system, providing compassionate care and medical services to patients across various healthcare settings. They are responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. RNs work collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective treatment plans and advocate for patient health and well-being. They must possess strong clinical skills and emotional resilience to handle the demands of the job, which often includes working long hours in high-stress environments. Registered Nurses are vital to patient recovery and healthcare outcomes, focusing on both preventive and restorative care. They must also be adaptable, as their responsibilities can vary depending on the healthcare setting, whether it be a hospital, clinic, or community health center. The role demands dedication, attention to detail, and constant learning to stay updated with the latest medical practices and technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and conditions of patients.
  • Develop personalized and evidence-based care plans for each patient.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient’s responses and side effects.
  • Collaborate with doctors to provide synchronized medical and nursing interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records to track symptoms and progress.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Participate in health promotion initiatives and community education programs.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
  • Ensure patient safety by monitoring for changes in health status.
  • Prepare patients and assist doctors during medical procedures and surgeries.


Requirements

  • Hold a valid and active Registered Nurse license in UAE.
  • Must possess an accredited nursing diploma or an associate's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Display proficiency in patient assessment and medical interventions.
  • Demonstrated ability in handling stressful situations and making timely decisions.
  • Must maintain current CPR and BLS certifications without any lapse.
