Forklift Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Forklift Operator / Delivery Coordinator to support warehouse operations and equipment delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have solid experience operating forklifts and managing deliveries, with a clear understanding of UAE roads, logistics procedures, and equipment handling practices.

Experience in operating other equipment types (e.g., pallet jacks, telehandlers, reach trucks, skid steers, etc.) will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Forklift Operations:

• Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, stacking, and relocating equipment and materials.
• Ensure equipment is handled according to safety and operational standards.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.

Delivery Coordination:

• Coordinate delivery schedules with the logistics and service teams.
• Prepare equipment for dispatch (cleaning, minor adjustments, securing for transport).
• Accompany or oversee delivery to customer sites when required.
• Ensure proper documentation for dispatch and delivery, including job cards and customer receipts.

General Duties:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area in the yard and warehouse.
• Assist in inventory control and incoming goods verification.
• Support service technicians and logistics team during equipment handover or return.
• Follow company protocols, safety standards, and customer service expectations.

Requirements:

Education & Certification:

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator license.
• UAE light or heavy vehicle driving license is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–4 years of forklift operation experience.
• Prior work experience in UAE warehouses, logistics centers, or equipment rental companies is required.
• Experience and license of other equipment such as Excavator, or Backhoe is a strong plus.

Skills:

• Knowledge of safe loading/unloading practices and equipment securing.
• Basic communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers.
• Familiarity with basic delivery documentation and handling procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of handling equipment and field work in hot weather conditions.
