Job Description

A Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in the delivery of healthcare services, offering essential patient care and acting as a supportive liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams. As a Registered Nurse, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. You will be expected to provide care that focuses on the comfort and well-being of patients across various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and community health environments. This role demands an empathetic approach, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality medical care. Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient health conditions and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
  • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patients for side effects.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries at home.
  • Document patient care plans and progress in detailed and accurate medical records.
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to healthcare protocols and guidelines consistently.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist during medical procedures when required.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations and critical cases.
  • Conduct regular patient follow-ups to assess ongoing health and treatment requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment to promote infection control measures.
  • Participate in continuous education and stay updated on nursing best practices.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid nursing license to practice.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records and healthcare management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining professional composure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential.
