Job Description

The role of a Registered Nurse (RN) is pivotal in the delivery of comprehensive healthcare services. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate and professional nursing care, supporting patients' health and well-being across various clinical settings. This role demands a high level of clinical expertise, critical thinking, and adaptability to rapidly changing healthcare environments. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that all treatment protocols and nursing standards are met. Whether working in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, or community settings, your critical input will ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care. This role not only demands technical proficiency but also an empathetic approach to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of patients and their families.


Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' health problems and needs, develop and execute nursing care plans.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients in clinical settings.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care and management.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on management of illnesses or injuries.
  • Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols in clinical environments.
  • Provide emotional support and information to patients and families as required.
  • Supervise and train junior nursing staff and students to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintain professional nursing knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing scientific literature.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, regulations, and safety standards in all tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent diploma from a recognized university.
  • Valid  license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Proven experience in a clinical role dealing with a variety of patient cases.
  • Proficiency in medical software and updated knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations effectively and maintain professional composure.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize work assignments efficiently.
