Substation control & protection system Testing & Commissioning for various projects acting as the responsible commissioning engineer overseeing the installation and commissioning of Substation Control & Protection systems for assignments classified as medium commissioning complexity. Manage completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Representing the Commissioning function at project meetings and Commissioning review meetings and contributing to creation of the project commissioning philosophy. Manages implementation of the project commissioning philosophy.
Managing implementation of commissioning changes and the production of as built project documentation and supporting continuous improvement of project process and product and system commissioning via provision of lessons learned feedback.
Conducting risk and opportunity assessments in real time during the commissioning phase to ensure safe implementation of the commissioning philosophy and identification of potential variation requests to support contract claims. Reports early any contract/quality/program/cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.
Managing external organizations providing Commissioning with equipment, systems or services (e.g. issues permit to work, provides guidance on health and safety requirement sand work practices, accepts as complete work done).
Actively develops and coach’s colleagues. Cultivates a network of Commissioning colleagues both within and outside own business unit. Takes a lead role in developing function within own business unit gathering and sharing best practice.
Creating standard processes and tools. Uses agreed processes and procedures to ensure that all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy contractual requirements.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
A bachelor’s degree in relevant industry is preferred.
Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience as a Commissioning Engineer of Protection system and products.
Taken High level to medium level complex project in operation skills to operate Test Kit. (Omicron, FREJA, Sverker).
Technical Report generation, communication, customer interface skills multi priority and multi-tasking. Analytical and strategic approach.
High organizing and coordination skills. Multi priority & multi-tasking. Analytical & strategic approach.
High Customer orientation.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
