Job Description

The Property Coordinator role is an excellent opportunity for an organized and dynamic individual to manage and oversee the daily operations of property management. In this capacity, a Property Coordinator ensures that properties are well-maintained and fully operational, liaises with tenants, and acts as a bridge between the property owners and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a keen eye for detail to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. They will be adept at negotiating while fostering positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and tenants to ensure all property-related issues are resolved promptly. With a focus on maintaining high standards of property management, the Property Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing tenant satisfaction and maximizing property value.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair work to ensure properties remain in optimum condition.
  • Act as a liaison between tenants and property owners for responsive communications.
  • Schedule inspections and ensure all safety regulations are strictly followed.
  • Facilitate lease agreements and renewals with thorough attention to detail.
  • Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs efficiently and diplomatically.
  • Maintain and update all property management records and documentation.
  • Oversee projects and ensure they are completed within set deadlines and budgets.
  • Address tenant complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and tact.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports for property owners summarizing key activities.
  • Assist in the development and management of property budgets and financial planning.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in property management, real estate, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in property management or related industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in property management software applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to foster positive relationships consistently.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and resolve conflicts effectively.
