Job Description

The Production, Quality, and Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of a manufacturing unit. This position involves leading the production team to meet quality standards while ensuring that procurement processes are streamlined to secure the best materials at the most competitive prices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record in improving production efficiencies and cost-effectiveness. The Production, Quality, and Procurement Manager is responsible for developing robust processes that uphold our company's reputation for excellence and reliability in our products.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire production process to ensure timely product delivery and quality.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to guarantee high standards.
  • Manage procurement processes, negotiating contracts to reduce costs effectively.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and consistency in material quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production environment.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production and procurement professionals.
  • Establish and oversee maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with the research and development team to implement new product introductions.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedural practices.
  • Prepare reports on production and procurement activities for senior management review.
  • Balance production schedules with market demand to optimize resource utilization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in production, quality, or procurement management.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven track history of improving efficiencies within a manufacturing setting.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain management and production planning principles.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and other production management tools.
  • Commitment to ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
