Responsibilities
Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring effective and safe dispensing of medications.
Manage pharmacy staff by scheduling, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Implement and enforce pharmacy policies to comply with all regulations.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals.
Monitor medication inventory levels and optimize use of resources.
Facilitate continuous education and professional development for pharmacy staff.
Ensure excellent customer service that addresses user queries and concerns efficiently.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to uphold high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Design and implement strategies to improve pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
Develop budget forecasts and monitor the department’s financial performance.
Engage in the hiring process to recruit skilled and motivated pharmacy employees.
Analyze pharmacy services efficiency and introduce enhancements based on findings.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
Possess a valid and active pharmacist license in the practicing state.
Minimum of three years of experience in pharmacy management or leadership.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, laws, and pharmaceutical practices.
Proven ability to manage staff and create a positive work environment.
Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with healthcare professionals.
Proficient in using pharmacy software and handling pharmacy operations efficiently.
