As a Middle East Reporter, you will be at the forefront of delivering accurate, timely, and insightful news covering a dynamic and pivotal region. This role involves a blend of field reporting, investigative journalism, and analysis, dedicated to bringing the diverse stories of the Middle East to a global audience. You must possess a deep understanding of the region’s geopolitical landscape, cultures, and historical contexts. Working closely with our editorial team, you'll produce content that not only informs but educates and engages. Responsibilities

• Research and write comprehensive news reports on Middle East affairs.
• Conduct interviews with experts, policymakers, and citizens for diverse perspectives.
• Collaborate with photographers and videographers to enhance storytelling with multimedia.
• Stay up-to-date with current events and emerging trends in the Middle East.
• Follow ethical journalism standards in every piece of content produced.
• Travel to various locations within the Middle East for on-the-ground reporting.
• Maintain a network of contacts in key areas across the region.
• Analyze political, social, and economic factors affecting the Middle East.
• Work closely with the editorial team to develop engaging story angles.
• Ensure accuracy and balance in all reports and articles published.
• Prepare content for both print and digital news platforms as required.
• Participate in post-publication discussions and revisions as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, International Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in reporting or journalism, preferably in the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of Middle Eastern political and cultural dynamics.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality content.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to new environments quickly.
• Strong interview skills and the ability to develop a broad contact base.
