We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Media Buyer to join our team. As a Media Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective media buying strategies, optimizing campaigns to ensure maximum reach and efficiency. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external media representatives to negotiate and secure the best rates and placements for our advertising initiatives. You should be well-versed in traditional media as well as digital platforms, with a keen understanding of market trends and consumer behavior. Your ability to analyze data and adjust strategies accordingly will be crucial in driving the success of our advertising efforts. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement media buying strategies to achieve client objectives.
  • Research and analyze target audiences to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Negotiate and secure competitive media rates with vendors and platforms.
  • Monitor and adjust media plans based on performance analytics and trends.
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to align media strategies with branding goals.
  • Track and report on the efficacy of campaigns and media spend efficiency.
  • Coordinate with finance teams to process and manage media expenditures.
  • Maintain relationships with media representatives to ensure best placement opportunities.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine and enhance media buying strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging media channels.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical codes of conduct.
  • Prepare detailed briefing and performance reports for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar role in a media agency.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with media representatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with media buying software and tools.
  • Familiarity with digital media platforms and performance tracking methods.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and teams.
