Job Description

The Marketing and Operations Assistant is a dynamic role that supports the dual functions of marketing and operational strategies within an organization. This position is pivotal in helping streamline processes, enhance productivity, and support marketing campaigns and initiatives. The assistant will collaborate closely with marketing leaders to ensure the smooth implementation of marketing plans while also providing operational support that promotes efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong inclination for organization and multitasking, with the ability to manage a diverse set of responsibilities efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects of marketing and operational projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain communication with vendors and partners to support marketing activities.
  • Manage and update marketing calendars and scheduling of related activities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials and content for various platforms.
  • Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas and recording important notes and actions.
  • Assist in the analysis and reporting of marketing and operational metrics and outcomes.
  • Oversee inventory and procurement of marketing materials and office supplies.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of marketing tasks.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering queries and handling correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and reinforce operational best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a marketing support or administrative role is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools desired.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, flexible approach to tasks.
