Job Description

As a Manager of Pricing Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing profits by analyzing market trends, understanding consumer behavior, and developing strategic pricing models. This position requires you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and finance, to create competitive pricing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. You will be responsible for assessing the impact of pricing changes on sales and margins, developing discount programs, and setting pricing frameworks that maximize revenue opportunities. An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills are essential as you'll be tasked with guiding pricing initiatives and leading a team of pricing analysts.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic pricing models to optimize revenue across product lines.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing actions to inform pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the financial impact of pricing adjustments on sales performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of pricing analysts in daily pricing operations.
  • Create, manage, and analyze pricing and discount programs to drive business growth.
  • Establish pricing frameworks and guidelines to guide sales and marketing efforts.
  • Conduct regular pricing audits to ensure alignment with industry benchmarks.
  • Prepare and present pricing strategy reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop tools and dashboards to improve the pricing decision-making process.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies and regulatory requirements within the industry.
  • Continuously assess pricing models for opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience in pricing strategy or similar roles within the industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and innovation.
