Job Purpose

As a Sales Manager Asia- Singapore Office, work with Regional Lead, to act as a liaison between Thuraya National and International Service Partners and Space42 team to ensure all aspects of the Space42 & Thuraya Satellite Services are delivered in an efficient and timely manner to the maximum possible user base.

Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Identify, profile, recruit & onboard Thuraya service partners whilst having a comprehensive market understanding in the assigned countries.
  • Develop the assigned countries including telecommunications trend, government budget & procurement process, and regulatory environment, with the intent of driving business development strategies and programmes across appropriate target segments (government, maritime, agriculture, and enterprise)
  • Support, monitor and manage the overall performance of Service Partners in assigned countries and assist in ensuring all components of the Thuraya service are delivered appropriately
  • Be a liaison and follow through with respective Thuraya teams to ensure appropriate actions are taken by the relevant Thuraya team to resolve Service Partner and end user issues
  • Identify, monitor and report any special market requirements or specific customer needs to ensure successful introduction of new Thuraya products and services
  • Prepare and drive the presentations about Space42 group for seminars, telecom events and for all potential National and International Service Partners and their strategic accounts.
  • Monitor SP stock and coordinate with business operation on SP purchase order fulfilment and follow up with SPs on payment and settlement of any overdue amounts
  • Engage the UAE Embassy in assigned countries and develop initiatives to introduce Space42 services to new government users.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a subject relevant to Commercial

  • A minimum of 5years’ experience in a commercial environment, preferably in the Satellite/Telecommunication industry
  • Fluent in Chinese & other Asian language preferred
