Job Description

The Key Account Sales Executive is a pivotal role in any organization, responsible for managing and deepening relationships with key clients while driving sales revenue. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills, a strategic approach to sales, and the ability to foster long-term customer partnerships. The main objective is to understand client needs and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, while achieving the company’s sales targets. This role involves collaborating with various departments within the organization to ensure the delivery of tailored solutions. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with key accounts to achieve sustained revenue growth.
  • Meet and surpass sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis for allocated key accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts by understanding client needs and future plans.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that key account requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to recommend strategic actions to the management.
  • Provide key clients with timely updates on new products and any upcoming company initiatives.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and reports to management and key account clients regularly.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Address and resolve client issues and complaints in a professional manner to maintain trust and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and other events to expand sales networks and drive business development.
  • Monitor client asset usage and performance metrics to suggest improvements and upselling opportunities.
  • Document feedback from key accounts to identify areas for improvement in the company's offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably handling key accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in preparing and closing complex deals.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large accounts and be accountable for performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to effectively interact with clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to devise strategic plans and make long-term business decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis.
