IT Support

The IT Support professional provides technical assistance to end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role ensures the seamless operation of IT systems across the organization, offering timely support both remotely and in person. The ideal candidate should have solid problem-solving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing systems.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

• Support software applications, operating systems, and antivirus tools.

• Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Active Directory.

• Perform routine system maintenance and software updates.

• Set up and troubleshoot video conferencing systems and meeting tools.

• Maintain documentation of IT procedures, incidents, and solutions.

• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or vendors.

• Provide basic IT training and guidance to staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support role.

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking.

• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and ticketing systems.

• Good understanding of computer hardware and peripheral troubleshooting.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.

• Analytical thinking with a proactive problem-solving approach.
