Interior Designer (225-723)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for transforming spaces to reflect our clients’ tastes and needs, creating environments that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional. You will work closely with clients to plan and execute interior design projects from start to finish, ensuring satisfaction every step of the way. Utilizing your creative flair and technical skills, you will develop design concepts, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors and contractors. Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine their design requirements and preferences.
• Create detailed design plans and presentations for client approvals.
• Manage project timelines effectively to ensure on-time completion of projects.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for design projects and manage finances.
• Source and procure furniture, materials, and accessories for design projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers for seamless project execution.
• Oversee installation and placement of furnishings and accessories onsite.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and industry developments.
• Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop to create mockups.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts as needed.
• Provide guidance and expertise to junior designers and interns when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory standards in all design projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in interior design or related work.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential.
• Strong creative vision and an understanding of client needs.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
