About The Role

The Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and validating embedded hardware systems. This role involves PCB design, component selection, and ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC and safety standards. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable hardware solutions for embedded applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate multi-layer PCBs using Altium, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, and KiCad
  • Select components based on performance, reliability, thermal behavior, and cost
  • Develop embedded applications and hardware prototypes
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of hardware systems
  • Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

Qualifications & Key Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in embedded hardware design
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity and high-speed digital/analog design
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller integration
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC principles and mitigation techniques
  • Skilled in hardware debugging and simulation tools
  • Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset
