Job Description

As a Finance Manager, you are an integral leader within the financial department, responsible for overseeing the financial health and driving the financial strategy of the organization. You will manage a team of finance professionals and be in charge of producing detailed financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Your ability to analyze, manage, and optimize financial processes will be critical as you work closely with senior management to influence the strategic financial direction of the company. You will utilize your strong analytical skills, business acumen, and in-depth financial knowledge to build sustainable financial strategies that align with overall business objectives, ensuring long-term profitability and growth.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the organizational goals and objectives effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring efficient performance and development.
  • Lead the budgeting process, including budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial laws, regulations, and best practices in accounting and taxation.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate operating capital and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Assume responsibility for managing the external audit process and liaising with auditors as required.
  • Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate those risks effectively.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and auditors.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial forecasting and risk analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and enhance financial policies and procedures in line with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Professional finance qualification such as CPA, CFA, or similar is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or relevant roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in managing a diverse team.
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills are required.
