Field Service Engineer (225-1004)

The Field Service Engineer is a crucial role within our company, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment at client locations. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose equipment problems at customer locations efficiently and accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all equipment is functioning optimally.
• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot complex equipment issues as needed.
• Deliver effective training to clients on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions for equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain detailed records of service reports, identifying trends in equipment issues.
• Proactively identify potential equipment failures and implement preventative measures.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their equipment needs and suggestions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards during all service tasks.
• Manage spare parts inventory effectively to minimize equipment downtime at client sites.
• Provide feedback to the product team to drive continuous improvement of equipment design.
• Travel as required to support clients and address emergency service needs promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven work experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and equipment schematics is preferable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues quickly.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours including weekends if necessary.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record is essential.
