Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
To provide technical expertise, oversight, and support for the execution of construction and installation activities in the field within a specific engineering discipline. The role ensures that all work is completed in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- Act as the technical authority for a specific engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation) on the construction site.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure accurate execution.
- Support the construction team by resolving field technical queries (FTQs) and liaising with the home office engineering team as needed.
- Monitor contractors work to ensure compliance with design documents, project schedules, and safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, participate in punch listing, and support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Ensure construction work aligns with quality standards and project procedures.
- Provide input into method statements, work packs, and risk assessments related to your discipline.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of field changes, redlines, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure interdisciplinary alignment and resolve interface issues.
- Support construction progress reporting, forecasts, and change management processes.

Expected
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, or relevant discipline).
- 7–10+ years of relevant field experience in EPC or EPCM projects in the oil & gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of international engineering codes and standards.
- Proven experience in managing contractor performance and technical compliance on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- PMP, API, AWS, or similar discipline-related certifications
- HSE training/certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus
