Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ERP Specialist to join our team and manage our enterprise resource planning systems. The ERP Specialist will play a key role in implementing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our ERP software to streamline business processes and enhance data management. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of ERP systems and strong problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for the ERP system.
  • Customize and configure the ERP software to match the organization's processes, integrating various modules as needed.
  • Ensure data migration from legacy systems to the ERP platform, validating accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor the ERP system's performance, identifying and resolving any technical issues or glitches that arise.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and updates to keep the ERP software current and secure.
  • Implement data integrity measures and perform routine data audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide comprehensive training to end-users on how to effectively navigate and use the ERP system.
  • Offer responsive user support by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions.
  • Develop user manuals and guides to assist users in utilizing the ERP system's capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate existing business processes and identify areas for enhancement using the ERP system.
  • Design and implement process improvements, leveraging the ERP software's functionalities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of process changes.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data from the ERP system to generate reports and insights for decision-making.
  • Create customized reports and dashboards tailored to different departments' needs.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
  • Integrate the ERP system with other applications and tools used within the organization's technology ecosystem.
  • Ensure smooth data flow between the ERP system and other systems through effective interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with ERP vendors and third-party providers to address technical concerns, upgrades, and improvements.
  • Monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree may be advantageous.
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in ERP system management, configuration, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in working with popular ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
  • Strong understanding of business processes across multiple functional areas.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Project management skills to oversee implementation and upgrades.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business requirements.
