Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, regularly.
• Identify electrical problems using testing devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters.
• Ensure all electrical installations adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Perform troubleshooting of electrical systems to resolve issues efficiently.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams of electrical systems.
• Manage electrical emergencies and provide quick solutions during power outages.
• Collaborate with contractors and other team members during large projects.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
• Document all electrical repairs and maintenance performed on systems.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and in good working condition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational certification is required.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification in electrical work.
• Minimum of three years of experience in electrical installations and repairs.
• Profound knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail in work.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
• Physically fit with the ability to work in confined spaces and heights.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for site visits.
