Job Description

The role of a Front Office Executive is pivotal in the hospitality and service industry. Responsible for delivering first impressions, a Front Office Executive ensures a seamless and positive guest experience right from check-in to check-out. You will serve as the primary contact point for guests, handling inquiries and managing front-desk operations. Your duties also extend to maintaining communication between the guests and other departments. Demonstrating professionalism, multitasking efficiently, and offering a high level of service quality are essential in this position. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive demeanor.
  • Efficiently check guests in and out while maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage phone calls and redirect them to relevant departments or personnel.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolution skills.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping for timely room service and cleaning schedules.
  • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
  • Monitor and manage reservations to optimize occupancy and revenue.
  • Process payments and compile daily financial transactions and reports.
  • Assist guests with information regarding facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Maintain a secure environment by following safety procedures and audits.
  • Update and manage guest information using the property management system.
  • Assist in administrative tasks and provide support to other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Executive or similar role.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and reservation software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications preferred.
