Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Plan routes to ensure timely delivery and optimize travel time.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
• Manage and secure loads, ensuring goods are delivered undamaged.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and recipients.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to any necessary changes.
• Report any accidents or traffic violations to management immediately.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork and logs are completed accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with dispatch and other drivers to ensure efficient delivery operations.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures related to driving and delivery tasks.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver in a similar role or environment.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and city/country roads.
• Strong time management skills to meet delivery schedules reliably.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and dispatch.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification required.
• Physical capability to load and unload heavy goods when necessary.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with GPS systems and mobile delivery applications.
