Job Description

The Construction Site Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that construction projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. This position involves managing various aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers. As a Construction Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and compliance on the construction site. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be highly detail-oriented, and have the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively. You will be the primary point of contact between project managers, site workers, and external partners, ensuring that project goals and deadlines are met. This role is crucial for maintaining the workflow and securing the success of the construction projects from initiation to completion.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all construction site activities and provide necessary supervision.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with assigned timelines and budgets.
  • Communicate daily objectives and schedules to construction teams effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress and submit reports routinely.
  • Execute quality checks to ensure construction meets established standards.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to secure necessary resources promptly.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure site environment.
  • Resolve on-site issues and manage any unexpected delays efficiently.
  • Conduct site evaluations and risk assessments to guide the project team.
  • Manage tools, materials, and equipment inventory to prevent shortages.
  • Verify that all work complies with legal and regulatory construction guidelines.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status and developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and safety systems.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and project management skills are required.
  • Outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively across multiple teams.
  • Competency in project management software and construction scheduling tools.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends if project demands require.
