Job Description

A Client Relationship Manager is a vital role within any customer-centric organization, responsible for maintaining and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and enhancing their experience with the company. This position demands an individual who is both strategic and personable, capable of building strong, lasting connections with clients while understanding their needs and goals. A Client Relationship Manager acts as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services or products. They must possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the company's offerings, and the ability to articulate the value of these offerings to clients.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs.
  • Communicate client feedback to the internal product development and service teams effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within current client accounts and plan approaches to manage such opportunities.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Prepare regular client reports to summarize the status of accounts, outcomes, and developments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand product modifications and relay relevant information to clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
  • Oversee client account management related aspects, including contract negotiations and agreements.
  • Ensure that the services and solutions delivered meet client commitments and expectations consistently.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Client Relationship Manager or similar role in client relationship management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills required for client engagements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and ability to manage client accounts using said technology.
