We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager – MICE to drive Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events business across our group of restaurants in the Abu Dhabi market. The role will focus on developing new corporate accounts, strengthening existing relationships, and maximizing group dining and catering revenues through strategic sales initiatives.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and secure new MICE and corporate dining opportunities to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Promote our restaurants as preferred venues for corporate events, private functions, banquets, and group dining.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, DMCs, event organizers, and agencies.
Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and presentations to showcase our dining concepts, menus, and services.
Collaborate with restaurant operations and catering teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of events.
Develop tailored proposals and event packages to meet client requirements while ensuring profitability.
Conduct market research to identify trends and business opportunities within the Abu Dhabi MICE and corporate market.
Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to build market presence.
Maintain accurate client databases, sales pipelines, and regular reporting.
Work closely with the marketing team to design promotions and campaigns targeting corporate and event business.
Ensure client satisfaction and secure repeat business through exceptional service and relationship management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business development or sales within hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or event management, preferably in the UAE market.
Strong network of corporate clients, DMCs, and event organizers in Abu Dhabi is highly desirable.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales/revenue targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of MICE industry trends, event planning, and F B operations.
Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven personality with strong business acumen.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
Flexibility to attend client meetings, events, and networking functions outside regular office hours when needed.

The work location is Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
