The Assistant Manager - Sales is a vital role within the sales department, responsible for supporting the Sales Manager to drive sales performance and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in formulating sales strategies and implementing effective plans.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve monthly targets.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and clients.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Organize and conduct regular sales meetings to communicate targets and expectations.
  • Identify potential business opportunities and work on pitches with the sales team.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints promptly ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support in recruiting, training, and developing new sales team members.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to management, highlighting key insights and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards in all sales activities.
  • Contribute to the development of sales scripts and training manuals for the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies is essential.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate a sales team.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing are necessary.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
