Job Description

The Assistant Manager of Corporate Sales plays a pivotal role within the sales department, handling and nurturing client relationships with key corporate accounts. This position demands an adept understanding of strategic account management, sales acumen, and a dynamic approach to business development. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with senior sales managers to strategize sales campaigns, engage with potential and existing clients, and liaise with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. The position is ideal for those who have a passion for sales, a knack for building strategic partnerships, and the ability to lead and inspire others. The Assistant Manager is expected to deliver substantial contributions toward achieving sales targets and driving the overall growth of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow corporate sales accounts effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the corporate sales team to identify and penetrate new markets.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and potential corporate clients.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to drive strategic sales efforts.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective corporate clients.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to corporate clients.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
  • Monitor sales activities to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and train junior staff in sales strategies and product knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and prepare detailed sales proposals.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent and promote the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in corporate sales or a related sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong understanding of corporate sales processes and cycles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to lead a team and foster a results-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client issues.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
