Application Analyst - Banking

We are looking for an Application Ananlyst, you will be responsible for the analysis, maintenance, and support of banking applications used to facilitate various financial operations. Your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and understanding of banking processes will contribute to the smooth operation of critical banking systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for banking applications, resolving issues and addressing user inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and offer solutions.
• Analyze banking applications to identify system vulnerabilities, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
• Implement solutions to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Ensure the stability and security of banking applications.
• Investigate and diagnose complex application issues, collaborating with technical teams and vendors as needed.
• Provide root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and oversee data integration, migration, and transformation processes within banking applications.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulations.
• Train end-users on how to effectively use banking applications and new features.
• Create user documentation and guides.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement enhancements to banking applications based on user feedback and business requirements.
• Support the implementation of new banking applications or upgrades by assisting with testing, data migration, and user training.
• Ensure banking applications adhere to regulatory requirements, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Liaise with software vendors to address application-related issues, updates, and licensing matters.
• Monitor the performance of banking applications, proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks or issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Application Analyst in the banking or financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations and processes.
• Proficiency in working with banking applications and systems.
• Technical expertise in programming languages, databases, and software development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with end-users, technical teams, and vendors.
• Understanding of data integration and data management principles.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards in the banking industry.
• Project management skills and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Adaptability to changing technology and industry trends.
• Familiarity with UAE banking regulations is advantageous.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic can be an advantage.
