Power BI Developer (225-905)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in business intelligence and data analysis, with a specific focus on creating insightful reports and visualizations using Power BI. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining impactful dashboards, reports, and data models to support informed business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights. Your expertise in data transformation, DAX functions, and report optimization will be key in facilitating data-driven strategies and enhancing data visibility across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define reporting requirements and needs.
• Implement data models and ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports.
• Use DAX functions to create complex calculated columns and measures.
• Optimize existing Power BI reports for better performance and usability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights for business strategies.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to construct comprehensive data models.
• Develop and enforce data governance and security protocols within Power BI.
• Assist in the training and support of end-users in Power BI utilization.
• Work closely with IT and data engineering teams on data infrastructure improvements.
• Provide regular updates and reports of data analytics progress to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role for two years.
• Strong understanding of data analytics, data integration, and transformation processes.
• Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and Power Query for data manipulation and evaluation.
• Experience in developing dashboards with meaningful visual presentation in Power BI.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
