Job Description

A Telesales Executive is a key player in driving the sales and marketing strategies of an organization by directly interfacing with potential and existing customers via telephone. This position revolves around efficiently understanding customer needs and pitching relevant products or services with resilience and a keen sense of negotiation. Typically positioned in a fast-paced work environment, telesales executives are expected to meet and exceed set targets, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills and persuasive abilities. This role requires individuals with a high degree of patience, commitment, and a deep understanding of the services or products they are selling. The ability to handle rejections gracefully while maintaining a positive attitude is imperative. Telesales Executives are often the frontline of a company's sales force and play a pivotal role in customer acquisition and retention strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Initiate telephonic contact with potential and current customers to generate sales.
  • Understand customers' needs and articulate appropriate product/service offerings effectively.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and revenue goals consistently.
  • Develop and maintain a database of existing clients and potential leads.
  • Follow up with leads through phone conversations, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
  • Document customer interactions, sales activities, and outcomes accurately in the CRM system.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to potential clients over the phone when necessary.
  • Handle customer queries, objections, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and pitches.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends to engage customers strategically.
  • Participate in regular training and adopt new sales techniques and methodologies.
  • Provide feedback to management on sales challenges and potential market opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a telesales executive or in a relevant sales role.
  • Excellent communication skills with a clear and confident speaking voice.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales over the phone.
  • Ability to handle rejection and stress in a competitive, target-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and telemarketing strategies is advantageous.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional sales-related qualifications are a plus.
