Equipment Maintenance Technician

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational reliability and efficiency of machinery and equipment in our facilities. Your expertise will help minimize downtime and enhance productivity by promptly identifying, diagnosing, and resolving equipment issues. • Collaborate with production teams to promptly address and resolve equipment-related issues.

• Develop and enforce maintenance schedules that align with operational needs and priorities.
• Train and guide junior technicians in performing various maintenance tasks effectively.
• Keep up to date with advances in technology for improved maintenance practices and tools.
• Source and manage inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for quick repairs.
• Assist engineering teams in modifying equipment setups to improve efficiency and functionality.
• Engage with equipment manufacturers for technical support and resolution of complex issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred in related fields.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an industrial maintenance role or similar.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a deep understanding of various types of equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure effectively.
