Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Understand product requirements and use cases to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
Log detailed and clear defects in tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and follow up with the development team for resolutions.
Validate defect fixes and perform necessary re-testing.
Collaborate with developers and product managers in agile sprint cycles.
Participate in design and specification reviews to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Maintain detailed test documentation and reports.
Contribute to improving overall test processes and QA best practices.

 Required Skills & Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in manual software testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
