Senior Business Analyst

Description About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our AI/ML team. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between technical teams, governance stakeholders, and business units to ensure smooth alignment and compliance whenever there is a requirement for new AI tools, solutions, or initiatives.

You will coordinate cross-functional discussions, track decisions, document requirements and approvals, and help maintain governance records in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, project managers, and governance teams (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Legal, Security) to gather and document requirements for new AI tools or solutions.
• Coordinate and facilitate discussions between technical teams and governance stakeholders to ensure alignment on AI tool adoption and usage.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation capturing decisions, approvals, and actions taken by governance committees.
• Maintain a centralized repository of all governance-related records for AI/ML initiatives.
• Monitor the status of AI tool requests and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely progress and resolution of open items.
• Assist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and templates for AI tool evaluation and governance workflows.
• Support periodic reporting on AI governance activities for senior leadership.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline governance coordination.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role, preferably in a technology or AI/ML environment.
• Strong understanding of governance processes, compliance, or risk management (experience with AI governance is a plus).
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, Confluence, JIRA, or other collaboration/project tracking tools.
  
  

• Exposure to AI/ML project lifecycles or data governance frameworks.
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, etc.) with complex governance requirements.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, responsible AI practices, or model risk management concepts.
